How we will accept your order. Once you place an order you will receive a confirmation email at which point a contract will come into existence between you the customer, and us the seller.

Should we not be able to accept your order. We will inform you of this and will not charge you for the product. This might be because we have sold out of limited production run products or because we have identified an error in the price or description of the product.

Your order number. We will assign an order number to your order and inform you of this via email when we accept your order. It will help us if you can tell us the order number whenever you contact us about your order.

How we may contact you. If we have to contact you we will do so by email, by telephone or (if necessary) by post, using the contact details you provided to us when placing your order.

Product availability. We will endeavour to ensure the website does not have any technical problems and that products displayed are available. However, as our products are typically produced in limited production runs then released on our website www.alexmuto.com in product drops for which there is high-demand, we cannot guarantee the availability of the website or that any products on the website will be available for purchase. In the event that your ordered items are unavailable we will notify you as soon as we can.

*Please note products may vary slightly from their pictures. The images of the products on our website are for illustrative purposes only. Please note that colours on our website may vary slightly depending on how your monitor is calibrated and which operating system your computer or mobile device uses. We do our very best to make sure all our images are as true to the actual product you are purchasing as possible but we can’t guarantee a perfect match every time due to almost limitless variations in home monitor set ups and operating systems.

PAYMENT

We accept all major banks, credit cards and Paypal.
Orders begin to be processed as soon as payment has been received.
The price of the order includes UK VAT.

PACKAGING / SUSTAINABILITY
​
We are keen to produce as little waste as possible and are committed to reducing environmental impact within our business. Most of our stock is vintage / antique and therefore can be fragile and delicate. All our pieces are safely shipped in recycled packaging direct to your door using hive wrap and eco chips. At times we may use plastic bubble wrap - this is second hand and repurposed only.

CANCELLATION POLICY
​
If you purchase an item and change your mind, we are happy to cancel the order and refund your money in full within 2 hours of the purchase. Unfortunately we are unable to cancel purchases after this time period.

LOST PACKAGES
​
Unfortunately it can happen. Usually late and lost packages have the habit of showing up, eventually. We will do everything in our power to retrieve your order. In the very rare instance that your order does go missing during the shipping process, and if it doesn’t arrive within 6 weeks from the initial purchase, please contact us and we do our best to resolve the issue.

PRIVACY POLICY

We take the privacy of our customers very seriously. We do not share any personal data collected with any outside organisations. We will not pass on your personal data, credit or debit card details to any third party. We only retain our customers account information such as name, email address and postal address on our system to make your shopping experience more convenient. Such information can be removed from our system by contacting us directly.

SAFETY NOTICE

Some items we sell are authentic, original products which were manufactured before today’s stringent health and safety standards. All sales of such goods are for collection purposes only. We do not imply any guarantee of compliance with health and safety standards unless specifically mentioned otherwise. Please pay special attention to electrical item descriptions for more details. In particular, while they may be perfectly safe for use, vintage electrical goods may not meet current UK standards. We recommend that all electrical goods are inspected, tested, certified and installed by a qualified electrician. We will not be liable for any loss, injury or death caused by electrical goods that have not been inspected, tested and certified by a qualified electrician.
SHIPPING DETAILS

Worldwide and domestic shipping is available on all items. Delivery costs are automatically added during checkout based on the item size, weight and delivery destination. Please allow up to 3 days for your order to be processed. When your order is ready you will receive a confirmation email to inform you when the items have been dispatched. Wherever possible, orders of several items will be grouped together for dispatch and we will always aim for the safest, most economical shipping option. If you require an express service please get in touch to discuss details so this can be arranged.

Standard Shipping = 7 - 10 business days
Signed for (with Tracking no.) = 3 - 5 business days

Europe:
Standard Shipping (with Tracking no.) = 7 - 14 business days

Rest of World:
Standard Shipping (with Tracking no.) = 7 - 21 business days

*Please note that some items start production once your order has been placed. For this reason, if there is any delay with your order, you will be contacted and notified of the expected delivery date.

**Please be aware that customers outside of the UK and EU may incur additional customs duties or taxes or other customs requirements. We are not responsible for any such customs duties, taxes or requirements, nor are we responsible for any parcels returned for unpaid customs duties or taxes or non-compliance, and we will not issue refunds under these circumstances. RETURNS / REFUND POLICY
​
We hope you are happy with your purchase. We take care to list items with accurate measurements and descriptions so you are fully aware of scale and quality before purchasing. Many of the pieces for sale are pre-owned, vintage or antique, therefore imperfections and signs of age/wear are to be expected. Please pay extra attention to item images and descriptions on our web shop where we do our best to list any notable details or defects.

As a small business, we deal with return requests on an individual basis. We are happy to accept returns/exchanges and offer refunds on any items purchased within a 14 day period assuming the item is being returned in the same condition it was sold. If you are not happy with your item, please let us know within this window of time.
Unfortunately after this period it is no longer eligible for a refund.
We pay the utmost attention to the quality of our products. Each item is carefully checked and packaged safely and securely before being sent out. If, however, despite these quality checks, you would like to report a faulty item, we invite you to contact us at info@alexmuto.com and we will do all we can to help.

*Please note that any returns are at the customers’ own expense and risk. The condition of the item must be found in no way different to that in which it was sold. We cannot be held responsible for any lost or damaged items during the return shipping process, therefore we strongly recommend you package fragile items appropriately, and advise you use an insured and tracked service.

Full refunds will be issued once the returned item has been inspected on arrival. All suitably returned products will be credited to the original purchaser’s credit or debit card, excluding delivery costs, within 7 working days. Postage costs are non refundable.

We reserve the right to refuse returns if they do no meet any of the following conditions:

All items must be returned in the same condition as they were received with original packaging

Refunds cannot be issued if the item was known to be faulty or damaged in someway at the time of purchase
